Welcome to Norse sphynx previously sphynx valhalla. We are a small cattery of this beautiful unique breed based in stoke on trent Staffordshire. We are on the sphynx cat club approved breeders list. Our cats live in our family home as much loved pets. Our love of this breed began when we got our first sphynx Freya as soon as she came into our lives we we're totally in love and our sphynx family grew from there. Sphynx cats are highly intelligent, crave attention and really are not like any other breed of cat. I always say their part cat, part dog and part monkey. They're always there to greet you when you walk through the door. Sphynx cats are not entirely hairless. Some will have fuzz on their tail, nose and ears they feel like a peach or maybe a hot velvet water bottle. Most people think due to their lack of fur they don't require much grooming or may not be allergic. This is untrue sphynx cats actually require more grooming due to this fact. We bath ours around once a month to help with the build up of oils on their skin believe me when I say you don't want to wear white when their on you. They have their ears and nails cleaned and trimmed weekly. As mentioned sphynx cats aren't completely hairless which means some people still can be allergic or they can be allergic to the saliva. Here at sphynx Valhalla we aim to breed for health. We do as much testing as possible to ensure we do. We hcm scan annually. Test for felv/fiv, cms and also run pcr tests for calivirus, herpesvirus and chlamydia. We don't always have kittens but when we do a lot of time, love and attention goes into them. They are raised in our family home with children of all ages, dogs and other cats. The kittens are extremely well socialised and out going which is something I pride myself in. We give the kittens the best possible start in life they don't leave us until  they are fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed/ neutered, wormed,two health checks, litter trained, 4 weeks free insurance, kitten contract which includes a 2 year hcm guarantee and kitten pack.
